Bunny Yeager was an American photographer and former pin-up model, born on March 13, 1929, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. She gained fame in the 1950s and 1960s for her groundbreaking work in glamour photography and is perhaps best known for her iconic photographs of Bettie Page. Yeager's work helped to redefine the genre, elevating it to a form of art. She was a pioneer in the field, not only as a female photographer but also for her unique approach to capturing the female form, blending natural settings with sensuality and class.
Yeager started her career as a model but soon found her true calling behind the camera. Her work was featured in prominent magazines like Playboy, and she authored several books on photography. She was also a designer, creating many of the swimsuits and costumes worn by her models. Yeager's influence extended beyond photography; she played a significant role in shaping modern perceptions of beauty and femininity.
