Bruce Timm is an American animator, producer, and artist, best known for his contributions to the modern animation and comic book medium. Born on February 5, 1961, in Oklahoma, Timm gained fame for his work at Warner Bros. Animation, where he was one of the key figures behind the creation of the DC Animated Universe. He co-created and produced the groundbreaking "Batman: The Animated Series," which debuted in 1992 and received critical acclaim for its sophisticated storytelling and stylized, Art Deco-inspired animation.
Timm's influence extends beyond Batman to other iconic DC characters through series like "Superman: The Animated Series," "Justice League," and "Justice League Unlimited."
