Alex Maleev is a Bulgarian-American comic book artist and illustrator, best known for his collaboration with writer Brian Michael Bendis on the Marvel Comics series "Daredevil." Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Maleev moved to the United States to study at the Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. He recognition in the comic book industry for his gritty, realistic style gained and his ability to bring depth and complexity to iconic characters.
Maleev's art is characterized by its intricate detailing, moody atmospheres, and a cinematic approach to storytelling. His work often incorporates elements of noir, making him a perfect fit for darker, more introspective storylines.
